Matthew Bretschneider

Matthew Bretschneider (he/him) is an adjunct professor at Rhode Island College where he teaches clown and physical acting. He is the co-founding artistic director of Studio Playground and teaches for Suffolk University, Trinity Repertory Company, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, and Walnut Hill School for the Arts. He has performed with the Huntington Theatre Company, The Flea Theater, Theatre Row, The New Ohio, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Kitchen Theatre Company, and Boston Playwrights’ Theatre. Television Credits include Law & Order: SVU and The Path. Matthew received a BFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and has trained with The Pandemonium Studio, Movement Theater Studio, and The Clown School. Education: BFA, Tisch School for the Arts, NYU.
