Vacation Camp @ Moses Brown

November 24th Vacation Camp Options (7:30am-3:00pm, No Extended Day)

Nursery/Pre-Primary (3-4 years old): $145

Nursery and Pre-Primary friends will have a day filled with age appropriate games and activities. Camper will have an opportunity to rest after lunch. 

 

Kindergarden- 6th grade options: $145

Storytelling & Play (Grades K-2) 

Let’s laugh, sing, and make a beautiful ruckus! Join Studio Playground for an acting class that empowers students to develop confidence and find their voice within an ensemble. Students explore storytelling, movement, clowning, and performance projects. 

 

Sports, Sports and More Sports ( K-6)

Join Girls Varsity Basketball Coach Christian Hayes in a day full of sports and games. 

Born in Chicago and raised in Joliet, Christian has been dedicated to basketball since age six, playing through high school (Plainfield South) and college (College of DuPage, 2014-2017). For the past six years, he has worked as an athlete strength, conditioning, and skill development trainer. He coaches Girls Varsity Basketball at Moses Brown and runs his own skill development business, Full Circle Training. In 2024, he helped coach The UCAP middle school girls' team to the Wheeler Middle School Tournament Championship in Providence, RI. 

 

Professor Gizmo's Build a Bakery (Grades 2-6)

Donuts! Cupcakes! Cookies! Pie! Each builder will receive a small stuffy to design an apron and chef’s hat, and get ready to build a bakery! Pastries, cafe tables, baking accessories and of course, the treats. Each builder will bring home their own stuffy and all their creations to continue the adventure.

Chess (K-6)

Moses Brown School is proud to offer our students the magic and joy of chess instruction from Chess Master Connections (CMC). CMC programs are dynamic, thoughtful and FUN! Learn life skills of winning and losing well, creating a plan and following it, and focusing on you and your opponent’s actions and the importance of creativity all masterfully imparted throughout their instruction.

Project FashionWorks (grades 2-6)

Start thinking, speaking, and designing like a pro! Project FashionWorks covers the essentials of fashion including:  design vocabulary, sketching fashion figures, using markers and understanding how to use colors and fabrics to develop an illustrated men’s or women’s fashion presentation. All levels of experience are welcome, regardless of whether you've taken art classes before or never picked up a drawing pencil.  All you need is a love for fashion and the desire to learn! A RISD graduate and fashion designer with over 30 years of experience in the fashion industry, Elana Carello has worked for such designers as Bill Blass and Adrienne Vittadini, and her self-titled collection of sweaters has garnered national acclaim.
